At Babo Bamboo, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please read this policy carefully before requesting a return.
1. Return Window
1.1 EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason (subject to legal exceptions).
1.2 Our Extended Return Policy
In addition to your legal rights, we offer a 30-day return policy for eligible items. This means you may request a return within 30 days after receiving your item.
2. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return under either:

our extended 30-day return policy,
your item must be returned in the following condition:

In the same condition as received

Unused and not damaged, altered, or soiled

In the original packaging

With any original labels, tags, seals, or inserts intact (where applicable)

With proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or order number)
Important
Returns that do not meet these conditions may be:

partially refunded (where legally permitted), if the item shows signs of use, damage, missing packaging, or handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.
3. How to Start a Return

4. Return Shipping Costs
4.1 Change-of-Mind Returns / Withdrawal Returns
If you return an item because:

you changed your mind, or
-
you exercise your EU right of withdrawal,
you are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless we explicitly state otherwise. This is permitted under EU rules if disclosed in advance.
We may provide return instructions or a shipping label for convenience, but the cost may be deducted from your refund (if applicable), or charged separately.
4.2 Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item is defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrect, please contact us immediately. In such cases, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights (such as replacement, repair, or refund), and return shipping costs will not be charged to you where applicable. 5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if:

to assess the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.
6. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return (unless defective or where required by law):

Custom-made or personalized items

Perishable goods

Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Gift cards

Sale/clearance items (unless defective or not as described, where required by law)
Hygiene / Health Protection Exception
Certain sealed goods may not be returnable once unsealed/opened after delivery if they are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, as allowed under EU consumer law.
If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, contact us before opening the product.
7. Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges.
If you want a different item, please:

Request a return for the original item (if eligible), and

Place a new order separately.
8. EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are an EU consumer and wish to exercise your 14-day withdrawal right, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods by sending a clear statement to:

Refund timing for withdrawal
If your withdrawal is valid, we will reimburse payments received for the returned goods in line with applicable law. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back (or you have supplied evidence of having sent them), as permitted under EU rules.
